We placed two pieces of ice of the same size in an iron bowl and on a wooden board, and finally saw a rapid melting in the iron bowl, but a slow melting on the wooden board. This is because the material of the iron bowl reacts with ice, ultimately causing the ice to melt quickly.

We put M&M beans in water, and the food coloring on the outer shell of M&M beans slowly disperses in the water. By moving the M&M beans in the water with our hands, we can see a more noticeable color melting.

When we suck the leather strap onto the cardboard, it bounces back quickly, but when we suck it onto the table, it doesn't bounce back. Cardboard brings air. Let the air inside expand, causing rebound.


We put two spoonfuls of white vinegar in a bag, and half a spoonful of baking powder in the same bag. When the baking powder comes into contact with the white vinegar, they react and start boiling, creating many bubbles and cooling.

We put sugar free and normal cola in water, and in the end they both floated up, but normal cola sinks a bit deeper than sugar free cola. There should be more sugar inside compared to sugar free cola, and sugar free cola has more cola gas than normal cola.

Finally, we take out the water bottle from the cooler, and after a few minutes, there will be water droplets flowing down the surface, indicating that the cold air on the surface or inside has turned into water flow.

These experiments are all very interesting, allowing us to intuitively experience the knowledge of melting and other aspects. We talked about how to answer students' curiosity and teach them knowledge in this area. How to support their learning.
